We were allowed to test the Julbo Promethee, a mid-range helmet with an attractive price tag (recommended retail price of 149 euros) and excellent protection. The fit is adjustable with a dial knob and the inside is extensively padded, so you hardly feel that you have the helmet on. Despite its somewhat plump appearance, the Promethee weighs no more than 560 grams, making it a true lightweight. Even after a long day of skiing, the helmet is not going to feel heavy.
